SEAT decided to extend by three months the warranty coverage for its vehicles which expired during the months from March to May 2020, as a consequence of the situation originated by the COVID-19.
SEAT extends the warranty coverage for its vehicles by three months.
Due to confinement, it is possible that some clients, whom warranty was expiring in March, April and May 2020, have not been able to attend authorised SEAT Services. As such, coverage will be extended for three additional months for warranty contracts that have expired or will expire between the 1st of March 2020 and the 31st of May 2020.
This extension is free for the client and applies to both the contractual warranty for new vehicles and the extended warranty contracted with SEAT, to offer to all clients the highest possible security conditions and facilitate their mobility, once is possible in accordance with each market’s situation.
This measure is offered by SEAT on a completely voluntary basis for its clients, without implying an acknowledgement of a legal obligation or any other obligation in the future. Moreover, SEAT is working hard in all its markets with its Official Dealer and Authorised Service networks in order to adapt its facilities and processes, thus not only ensuring the safety of its clients, but also establishing additional services and advantages so that they can attend authorized SEAT Services.
